Green Wave Club
The Green Wave Club is the official fundraising arm of Tulane Athletics. Our purpose is to provide our student-athletes, coaches, and staff with the resources necessary to excel academically and athletically. All support towards Athletics is invested to propel Tulane Athletics forward in our pursuit of championships.
Tulane Athletics continued building on our momentum in 2023. We achieved an individual national championship, multiple conference championships and postseason appearances, and another football season with double-digit wins. Along with athletic success, Green Wave student-athletes ranked #2 nationally with 6,565 hours in community service, while achieving a department-wide Graduation Success Rate of 93%.
Why are donations necessary?
All resources are directed to provide our student-athletes the tools they need to pursue academic excellence in the classroom and every opportunity to compete for championships on their respective fields of play.
Tulane Athletics relies on the generous support of our fans, alumni, and friends. Each year, thousands of supporters come together in support of our 17 varsity programs and 350+ student-athletes by making a gift to the Green Wave Club.

Green Wave Club Unlocking Challenge
Ben Weiner Director of Athletics, David Harris and Football Head Coach, Jon Sumrall are challenging supporters of Tulane Athletics during Give Green 2024. In support of our 402 student-athletes, when 402 donors direct their gifts to the Green Wave Club, David Harris and Coach Jon Sumrall will each donate $5,000, unlocking another $10,000 in support!”
