What is Give Green: A Day for the Audacious?
On December 8, 2017, Tulane launched its most ambitious campaign ever – Only the Audacious: The campaign for an ever bolder Tulane. The Only the Audacious campaign empowered us to elevate, innovate and exceed our greatest aspirations. Now, with Always the Audacious, we have new horizons to conquer. #GiveGreenTU is a day to celebrate our collective power and transform Tulane through audacity and generosity.
Why should I participate in Give Green: A Day for the Audacious?
Your gift every year helps Tulane dream big and think bigger. Donors to the Tulane Fund make an impact with gifts that support scholarships, academics, research, and all of the experiences that make Tulane unique. It takes the collective annual support of alumni, parents, friends, students, faculty and staff to make Tulane great.
Why is Give Green different than any other day?
Thanks to a group of generous donors, every gift on #GiveGreenTU helps earn additional matching bonus funds for Tulane’s schools and units, increasing the size and impact of every gift! There will also be special one-time challenges that will give schools and units additional opportunities to compete for matching funds.
What’s the goal?
T he goal of #GiveGreenTU is to energize Tulane’s current supporters and inspire others to participate in annual giving for the first time. Gifts of all sizes are welcome and appreciated as all the members of our community come together to support their passions and make a difference on this special day.
Where can I find Give Green updates?
Right here at GiveGreen.tulane.edu! As we get closer to Give Green you will be able to read about the different challenges and learn about ways to get involved. On April 10-11, you can track live progress, see who’s donated, and more. Most importantly, you’ll be able to see the collective impact of so many people giving at the same time!
Where can I find the Challenge Schedule?
You’ll find the full list of challenges at GiveGreen.tulane.edu starting on April 3.
How do challenges work?
Each challenge is different. Some will involve a competition between schools and units to see who can get the most donors in a fixed period. Others will depend on being at the right place at the right time, like funds released to a school or unit receiving the 500th gift of the giving day. Schools or units who win a challenge will receive additional funds above and beyond that individual gift.
Can anyone participate in Give Green?
YES! The more people who are inspired to #GiveGreenTU, the larger the collective impact for Tulane.
