Tulane Bands
Tulane Bands members are some of the hardest-working students on campus! Over the last year, the members of the band program gave over 120 performances! Highlights included the Military Bowl in Annapolis, MD, the Ellucian National Conference, the Washington, D.C. Mardi Gras, and another 10-game football season with the Green Wave. Record attendance at our Homecoming Alumni Band and our School Band Day helped #PackYulman and bring more people into the Tulane community!
Why are donations necessary?
Band members are some of the first to arrive in August for band camp and some of the last to leave, with many of our students staying well past finals week to perform at Athletics events. As the band adds more and more performances to their calendar, the needs for facilities, space, and equipment continue to grow. The generous gifts of our Tulane community allow us to continue providing uniquely Tulane experiences to our students and to our community!

The Tulane University Marching Band has worn their Olive Green and Newcomb Blue uniforms since the beginning of the modern TUMB in 2006. These uniforms have established a uniquely Tulanian style but are well past their useful life. The band will be working with some of the best minds in the pageantry arts to design a new custom uniform that caters to our specific performing style and the harsh late summer climate of New Orleans so that students can look, sound, and FEEL their best. Your gift will support the mission of growth, forward momentum, and attracting more Tulane students to join the band.
